About the Journal

The Yearbook of UNWE is a reviewed scientific publication of the University of National and World Economy, Sofia. It is a collection in English and includes results from scientific research presented in the form of studies, articles, conference reports, scientific announcements, etc.  

The Yearbook of UNWE publishes only original research works that have not been published before and have not been simultaneously submitted for publication anywhere else. Manuscripts are written and submitted following the requirements of the Editorial Board. The review of the studies and articles is done in compliance with the assessment standards of the double-blind peer review system.

Scientific profile

The Yearbook of UNWE publishes results from scientific studies in economics, administration, management, law and political studies, as well as related areas.

Publication Ethics

The Editorial Board of The Yearbook of UNWE (the Board) follows the principles of legality, independence, objectivity, impartiality, publicity, tolerance and professional qualification. Thus, it provides equal opportunities to protect the authors' legal rights and interests.

The Board follows the commonly adopted norms of publication ethics. The editorial policy of the publication is based on the international standards of the Committee on Publication Ethics, COPE (A COPE Guide). These standards are followed by the editors, reviewers, authors and publisher in the publication process. On the publication's website, the Editorial Board has published its contacts, the rules it follows, the requirements for the contributors and the criteria for assessment/review of the manuscripts.
